Webelos II, Den 3 Schedule 2007-2008

Den Meetings: Wednesday nights, 7pm.

All Den Meetings Will Be at Our House, 2603 Mann Rd, 7:10pm.

September 19: Year Overview. Go over Arrow of Light Requirements. Review Scout Motto, Law, etc. Also discuss campout and Leave No Trace guidelines.

October 3: Plan and prepare for campout. Plan packing list, meals and activities.

October 13: Camping overnight. Activities: Rocket launch, rock collecting, hiking and canoeing(?). Receive instructions for upcoming rock collections and science projects.

October 17: Fun Activity, Artist Studio(?). Check off Outdoorsman badge requirements.

November 7: Complete/Review Readyman badge.

November 21: Presentation of Scientist badge projects.

December 12: Presentation of completed Scientist/Geologist projects.

January 9: Present any/all requirements done at home. Present handbooks with all completed requirements for badges.

January 23: Final Arrow of Light requirements completed. Make arrows for Blue and Gold Banquet.

February 6: Fun Activity. Boys decide.

February 29: Blue and Gold Banquet/Bridge Over!

Goals for the Year:

Badges: Outdoorsman, Readyman, Scientist, Geologist.

Camping skills, Meeting Boy Scout troops. Completing Arrow of Light badge.

Leave No Trace badge for those who haven’t  done it. Prepare for Boy Scouts!
